Sundays 8.00am
A quiet Anglican service using a modern form of the liturgy.
Normally we have three hymns. There are three readings from the Bible and the sermon is almost always biblically based..
Sundays 10.00am
This is a lively contemporary service structured around the modern liturgy. There is plenty of singing with a mixture of modern songs and older hymns. Children go out near the beginning of the service for Sunday Club and return for communion. Emphasis is placed on the Bible from which there are always three readings and the sermon is almost always biblically based.
Sundays 1pm Tongan Service
This is a traditional Holy Communion Service conducted in a mixture of Tongan and English.

Who are we?
St George’s is an Anglican church that has an evangelical/charismatic emphasis. As a Church, we are open to the renewing power of the Holy Spirit. We place a strong emphasis on biblical preaching. We are a church that encourages people to grow in their relationship with God through a deeper understanding of the Bible. We are the Parish of Papatoetoe although our some of our members come from beyond the boundaries of this parish. We belong to the Province of Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia. We are in the Diocese of Auckland and part of the Archdeaconry of Manukau.

Minister
Onosai Auva’a’
Talofa and warm greetings. My name is Onosai James Tololima Auva’a. I am half European and half Samoan. I am married to Amy and we have four sons; James, Elijah, Luke and Daniel.
A little bit about me.
I am from Counties and grew up in Papakura. I represented NZ in the U19s Jr Rugby World Cup winning team in 2004. I played for the NZ7s which won Gold at the Commonwealth Games in 2006. I was then privileged to play for Auckland and the Blues before heading over to the UK playing for Sale. I have graduated from University in Theology, Teaching and Social Services. I enjoy being in governance, including school and church boards, counselling agencies and focusing on pastoral care and well-being.
